What Are Food Hub Bucks?
Food Hub Bucks are $25 monthly credits that can be used on the Whidbey Island Grown Food Hub, a year-round online market featuring produce, meats, baked goods, prepared foods, pantry staples, and more from over 50 local producers.
How it works
Create a free account on the Food Hub using the same name and contact info. If you are a Food Hub customer already, you can use your existing account.
Apply for Food Hub Bucks online using our quick, self-report form. Applications are open from the 1st through the 25th of each month.
Our Food Hub team will notify you of your account approval, and $25 will be added to your Food Hub account on the first of the month.
Shop the Food Hub as you normally would—spend your credits however you choose.
That’s it! Just remember:
Credits do not roll over to the next month.
You’ll need to reapply each month to receive the benefit.
Funds are distributed first come, first served
You must be a Whidbey Island resident to be eligible
