Spring Mini BioBlitz in Conjunction with Endangered Species Day
WHAT IS BIOBLITZ? Bioblitz is a set timeframe where scientists, families and the community come together to explore and survey the biodiversity within a specific area. Bioblitz allow us to learn more about plants, animals, insects and other organisms that call our local environment home.
Meet scientists and nature experts, and contribute to community science by logging your sightings of plants and animals at Keystone Preserve.
Learn how the Whidbey Camano Land Trust, Organic Farm School and the Endangered Species Coalition are working together to preserve critical habitats, promote sustainable agriculture and protect imperiled species.
No prior experience necessary. You can use your smartphone with the iNaturalist app, or we will provide supplies for you. Please dress for the weather and wear walking shoes or hiking boots.
